PENANGGULANGAN TINDAK PIDANA TERORISME ANTARA INDONESIA DENGAN IRAK

This research aims to analyze the comparison of counter-terrorism policies between Indonesia and Iraq. is a descriptive normative legal research. Legal materials consist primary secondary obtained through literature study. The approaches used include legislative approach, conceptual approach case approach. Based on results research, it known that differences in counterterrorism Iraq lie security context, regulations institutions handle acts terrorism. similarities using intelligence prioritizing national security, existence agency. As for researcher's suggestions, first, strengthen authority National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT). Second, revise rules related State Institutions Terrorism, efforts preventing terrorism wider community, regarding radicalism, extremism, which threatens stability State.Keywords: terrorism, crime, countermeasures.
